Children and Suicide Prevention Resources

I am going to keep this short.

I have found through grief counselling with the family members and in particular, many moms, that there are more and more children dying by suicide. This makes my heart heavy as I write this.  Perhaps, it makes your heart heavy too.

No one wants to belong to a suicide loss support group for parents who have had a child die by suicide.

The resources offered through the “Centre for Suicide Prevention” may be of help to many of you.

There is a lot of information on the “Centre for Suicide Prevention” website    https://www.suicideinfo.ca/workshop/tattered-teddies/  ,courses, resources and more.

This link is for a Suicide Prevention Tool Kit that is free.

The “Centre for Suicide Prevention” also has an interactive handbook (212 pages) about the awareness and prevention of suicide in children called, “Tattered Teddies” that you might want to check into.

Here is the link to purchase the handbook https://www.suicideinfo.ca/product/tattered-teddies-handbook/   My book has an ISBN: 978-0-9733886-5-7
